Post Ied-ul Fitr, waste management site in Grogol Selatan Urban Village, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta will be operated. An alternative fuel and compost will be produced in this site.

“As planned, it will operate after ied-ul fitr. Considering training to the manager is still ongoing,” said Grogol Selatan Urban Village Head, Agung Wibowo, Tuesday (7/7).

Later on, there are 5 managers who were assigned to manage that site. Ranging from collecting to become compost.

“We gonna process plastic waste transform into cooking-fuel. There so, the manager would be paid with their own masterpiece,” he uttered.

According to him, the main subject of the training is how to use enumerator and sieving machine. Thus, no more space for mistake and maximally in use. “We’ve set the tools, the training material is about the steps of making compost,”  he expressed.

On the other hands, this waste management site is a cooperation of several parties, Grogol Selatan Urban Village with Public Work Minister and Corporate Social Program of media company. “Through this site, as much as 1 tons of waste is processed in a day, both organic and inorganic ,” he explained.

In the next future, Wibowo wants to fulfill plastic enumerator machine in site. “Who knows, there would any company who wants to contribute,” he disclosed.
